The Mar Thoma Fellowship in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the North East of England is part of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church and its UK Europe Africa Diocese, and has a Vicar-in-charge from the Liverpool parish.

Supported by the Malayali diaspora living in the areas of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Gateshead, Sunderland, Washington, Durham, Middlesbrough and Stockton-on-Tees, this Fellowship conducts a Holy Communion service every month, following the Mar Thoma Church liturgy. A cottage prayer meeting also takes place once a month at a member's residence.

The Fellowship benefits from the love and support of St. Andrew's Church in Lamesley, Gateshead, a historic place of worship with Saxon origins dating back to 1286.
